“Taylor Rome is the best dog walker I have ever had. He walked my dog Jackson for over two years. During that time, he was reliable and always professional. But most importantly, he cared for Jackson like he was his own dog. He often took Jackson for extended walks longer than the scheduled time. He often took Jackson to the arboretum and to various parks instead of the easy route near my home. He told me if Jackson had any issues and always made sure he was safe and well cared for. Jackson adored him. Since he stopped walking Jackson, I have felt an absence in Jackson’s life.
Taylor is also a great photographer and sent me many beautiful images of Jackson on his walks. I have a collection of photos that I treasure from these walks. I was impressed when I saw how Taylor could sometimes handle up to 6 dogs at a time.
For Taylor, dog walking seems to be more than just a job. He gives of himself and connects to the animals and nature in a spiritual way.

Taylor Rome was our dog walker for three years and we cannot say enough about him. Taylor was trustworthy, punctual and professional but most importantly exceptional with dogs. He is kind and patient and it was clear that he knew a lot about dogs and how to manage them. He took our Cavapoo, Bailey on hikes with a group of his dog friends of all different breeds. I've known Taylor for 10 years. He has taken care of my current dog, my previous dog and house sat for me while I was on vacation. The connection he makes with his furry charges is amazing. I have experience myself in dog training and pet care. Dogs know good people and Taylor is one of them. You yourself will see the connection he makes with your animal companion. He will not just "take your dog on a walk". He/She will have an adventure with their Uncle Taylor and will get a chance to run, play and explore to his/her heart's content outside among nature. He/She will come home tired and happy. A tired dog is a good dog. No pent up energy for you to deal with when you get home.
I especially enjoy the photos sent to me while away from my baby girl. She, in turn, LOVES her Uncle Taylor. Whenever I tell her "Uncle Taylor's coming!" she gets all excited and literally watches the door until he arrives. Taylor is a thoughtful care giver. He sees each animal as an individual and meets not only your needs, but the needs of your furry companion as well. As someone who deals with anxiety and depression and is extremely attached to her “fur baby”, I NEVER worry when Taylor is taking care of Tahna. He gets to know each of his charges and will alert you to any changes he sees in them. When house sitting, he takes care of the home as though it were his own. You’ll come home and find it in the same or better condition than you left it! He’s neat and cleans up after himself. I really can’t say enough. If you want your fur baby to fall in love with his/her caretaker, Uncle Taylor should be your choice.

I have known Taylor for over 10 years. He regularly stays in our home to take care of my cats, including delivering medications. I trust him completely! As evidence of his skill, whenever he comes to the house, the cats rush up to him for petting. This is not their typical behavior! So this review is really from them and they would give him top scores - all paws up! While I don't have dogs, I've heard him talk about the dogs that he walks and it is clear that he treats them as his own while under his care. In sum, Taylor has my highest recommendation!

I wholeheartedly trust Taylor with the care of my beloved fur family. For more than a couple of years, Taylor has provided top notch excellent care to my two cats. I have also, bared witness to Taylor bringing this consistent loving, present, and thoughtful care to some of my friends cats and dogs. Taylor is responsible and trustworthy. On top of that, and intertwined within it all, Taylor truly has a deep love and respect for animals. For Taylor to care for an animal, means that he is in relationship with them.
Taylor takes the time to foster a friendship with each animal he cares for. He is not a one size fits all animal caregiver. He brings thoughtful attention, kindness, and care to whom each unique animal is (as well as their needs, comfort levels, etc). Caring for animals is clearly, a part of Taylor's heart.

I’ll never forget the first time my dogs met Taylor. He was so gentle with them and crouched down to meet them on their level. I knew right then that this is a person who knows what he’s doing.
My dogs took to him immediately and that is quite unusual for my male dog, Bugsy! Taylor loves animals, especially dogs and cats, which I’ve seen in everything he does when he’s with my pets, who love him very much in return. He is my dogs’ (and my cat’s) favorite man, by far. There’s something very special about Taylor and his love for, and understanding of, all dogs great and small.
I highly recommend Taylor for any/all of my pets’ needs.
